Commercial catering equipment company Carford Group has achieved Investors in People status.
Ferndown-based Carford distributes catering equipment from around the world, provides kitchen design and project management services, manufactures its own stainless steel kitchen systems and provides full servicing support from directly-employed engineers.
It employs 100 staff, based mostly at its Ferndown Industrial Estate head office and has an annual turnover of £8 million.
Carford was praised in its assessment for involvement of the directors and managers in helping and developing members of staff.
 Carford Group has gained IIP accreditation; production supervisor Matthew Newman.
The report also highlighted a number of good career development trails, with many individuals joining from school and going on to become highly-trained and skilled workers and managers. Managing director Nick Oryino himself began life with the company as an engineer.
And staff feedback showed employees felt appreciated and involved in the company growth.
Nick said: "Investing time and training in our employees has helped the company grow well over the last few years - we are known for providing high-quality support to our customers and that comes directly from excellent staff."
