St Anthonys School - Leweston

Carford were asked by the client to work with the architects to come up with a design of floor space required to facilitate the construction of a new kitchen. The problems faced were the kitchen was to be sited under an existing school church and using some odd angled walls.

A design was eventually agreed with the architects who then managed to get planning consent. Carford then designed a kitchen with cooking equipment, preparation fabrication and extract / fresh air system. A walk in coldroom and freezer servery counter and a rack dishwasher system to be fitted into an odd lozenge shaped room. 
 
Once the project had been installed on time, full staff training was given on the equipment but some months after the client asked for a refresher course and the Zanussi training chef was arranged to do the training and give cooking advice on the equipment.

As with any project there can be a few equipment teething troubles that were dealt with quickly.
 
A Carford engineer has also been nominated for this site and has been and introduced himself to the relevant personnel and catering manager. He has discussed and agreed with them that if he receives a service call he will only attend at the agreed suitable times.
 
Staff training was provided at the end of the project and after a request from the client some more in depth training and cooking advice was supplied with the help of the Zanussi chef
