The newest rising star on the Bournemouth restaurant scene is brasserie-style Jimmy's that opened in June with a full house and has not looked back since.
With a 90-cover dining area and bar, it has enjoyed a packed house every night since and employs doormen every evening to control access - especially the Friday and Saturday night queues.
Jimmy's kitchen was designed and fitted out by Carford Group using predominantly Zanussi Professional equipment that included six-burner ranges, fryers, grill, microwave, plus refrigeration tables, freezer tables and dishwasher.
Carford completed the kitchen workflow with its own-make stainless steel tabling and also supplied pizza oven, glasswashers and upright fridges.
General manager Mark Martin said: "Carford was efficient and quick and enabled us to launch with confidence and without hiccups."
"This is a brand new concept; we mix up the music a lot and provide a different vibe for the area."
Jimmy's has already attracted some big name diners such as Rio Ferdinand, Teddy Sherringham and Patrick Berger and the interest of the Football Association. Clientele shows that it appeals to most age groups from trendy youngsters to 70 year-olds.
The premises were previously an antique shop so a complete refurbishment was needed. Now it employs 30 front of house and kitchen staff; on a busy night they will use up to 16 staff in front of house.
And it hasn't stopped there, the owners plan to shortly open a nightclub next door - the Amber Lounge - for the 24-55 age group, which aims to plug a gap in the Bournemouth club scene.
Carford is based not a million miles from Jimmy's in Dorset but it supplies and services restaurants and other commercial catering facilities around the UK.
