Engineers at the catering equipment servicing division of Carford Group have switched from operating a mixed fleet to running predominantly VW Caddys on four-year contract hire. |
With the exception of a handful of larger tail-lift vans used for installations, all 50 of Carford's directly-employed engineers around the UK will be supplied with a VW Caddy by December this year.
Commercial director Richard Weller said: "We provide a fast response to equipment breakdown so the vans need to be as reliable as possible; standardising the fleet and keeping it fully up to date will help us meet our objectives." |
