Commercial catering equipment company Carford is advising Hard Rock Cafes in Germany and Holland on kitchen design.
The orders follow several Hard Rock Cafe installations around the UK the latest in Nottingham in June where Carford designed and installed complete kitchens, cold rooms and bar equipment.
Ferndown-based Carford¹s project manager Steve Hemsil has returned from Amsterdam where he produced kitchen designs for a revised cook line to accommodate new local legislation.
He said: "We oversee European installations on behalf of Hard Rock. They can then be confident that their kitchens are supplied with quality equipment from European suppliers that is capable of producing Hard Rocks menu.
"As part of our brief, we supply the design of the kitchen and also the specification of the equipment"
Carford is producing drawings for the new Cologne, Germany, cafe based on a standard 'template' its designers developed with Hard Rock staff. Steve Hemsil will visit regularly to project-manage the installation.
Hard Rock¹s current roll-out programme includes new cafes for Leeds, Cardiff, Lisbon and Dusseldorf.
Hard Rock Cafes offers American food in a high-energy music atmosphere with memorabilia that pays tribute to legendary musicians, and sells collectible merchandise such as its famous logo guitar pins.
From the first cafe in Hyde Park, London in 1971, Hard Rock now has over 100 cafes in more than 36 countries, in cities that include New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei.
