Carford was called in on the back of a successful kitchen installation at Jimmy's first restaurant in Bournemouth. This time brief was to design, supply and install a fully-fitted kitchen, dishwash area, two bars and an outdoor coldroom.

The Grand Prix Awards, run each year by the Catering Equipment Distributors' Association, recognises the best catering equipment installation undertaken during the preceding year.

Carford was judged on how it matched CEDA's best code of practice, performed to cilents brief, timescales, project management, client training, aftersales support and client satisfaction.
