Carford Group has been awarded a prestigious contract to service catering equipment in Marks & Spencer stores.
The deal covers equipment in back-of-house restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries within 183 stores in the north east, midlands, London and central southern regions.
The contract will expand Carford¹s service division; it currently operates 50 service engineers around the UK plus 13 support staff operating from its Dorset head office.
Its call centre will provide Marks & Spencer with a 24-hour emergency help desk backed by 4-hour and 24-hour response times, depending on the urgency.
The order was placed through facilities management company WS Atkins.
