Carford Group has carried out two kitchen installations in new city-centre hotels for the Real Hotel Company.
The Sleep Inn City of London Hotel includes kitchen equipment, which serves around 120 at a time, plus a cold room, breakfast servery, bar and bar servery.
It features a bespoke hot servery and carvery unit with interchangeable top inserts, which means it performs three separate functions. It can be a Bain Marie, a hotplate, using Ceran (or tiled) inserts, or a carving unit thanks to carvery pads.
The hotel, which has 163 ensuite rooms and is in the heart of the city, is a refurbished office block, and is the capital's first Sleep Inn.
At Sleep Inn, Birmingham Star City, Carford Group has installed equipment for up to 80 covers, including a full cellar cooling system and other appliances in the cellar.
A four-ring range oven; griddle; fryer; microwaves; Merrychef combination microwave; heated gantry; pass-through dishwasher with tabling; fabrication; refrigeration (upright & undercounter); glasswasher; electric chaffing dishes with roll tops; toasters and extraction canopy are among the units.
Carford has also this year completed similar installations for Sleep Inns, owned by the Real Hotel Company, in Shrewbury and Doncaster. Others are planned in the autumn. |
