Commercial catering equipment servicing company Carford Services has won a contract to service catering equipment for hundreds of Whitbread outlets.
The three year rolling contract covers 480 commercial kitchens in pubs, restaurants and hotels in an area between Eastbourne, Lyme Regis and Oxford.
Expanding Carford Services has 41 specialist service engineers located around the south of England - 15 of these have been added in the last 12 months - and 13 staff in its Ferndown call centre.
Director Nick Oryino said: ' We have experienced 25% growth each year for the last three years, and with the new Whitbread work anticipate an increased turnover this year of 33%.'
Carford's call centre operates a 24-hour emergency help desk. Its computer monitors each engineer's movements and availability - and when necessary can pinpoint an engineer and re-allocate him in minutes.
And when customers need to track the reliability of equipment, all details on repairs can be seen at a glance.
Carford Services - which is a sister company to Carford Catering Equipment - expects to employ more new staff during the year, especially in administration. |
