Commercial catering equipment company Carford has fitted out the kitchen of the latest Conran restaurant, Plateau, in London's docklands.
This is no ordinary kitchen - Carford's design is on full show located between Plateau's two restaurants and fully visible from both through large windows.
Leading trade magazine Caterer & Hotelkeeper described the kitchen as 'stunning' and the equipment, which includes two Bonnet island ranges and an L-shaped range with built-in rotisserie, as 'breathtakingly beautiful'.
In fact, one of Terence Conran's top tips for running a successful restaurant is "pay even more attention to the back-of-house design than the front-of-house".
The kitchen serves and separates two distinct dining areas - a bar and grill and a more formal main restaurant each with their own individual outside terraces.

Plateau sits in a prime 4th floor location at the top of the Canada Place building with spectacular views over Canary Wharf and the docklands.
The £1/4 million contract for kitchen and refrigeration came following Carford's successful designs in Conran's Zinc grills at Glasgow and Fulham - and the Ferndown company is about to work with Conran again at its new venture in St Paul's, London.
Carford's Tony Perkins said: "It is a beautiful installation - one of the initial criteria was that it should be as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional so there are touches such as marble work surfaces on the stainless steel tables we made specially.
"With Plateau being on the fourth floor, the installation was logistically difficult. And more so because the services had to come from the ceiling - the floor could not be used as the restaurant is directly above a gymnasium.
"It was a 15-week project from start to finish and Conran involved us right from the beginning, working alongside its architects, which helped the process run smoothly."
Carford also designed an built BBQ equipment for an external ground-floor terrace
