Haskins Garden Centre near Ferndown, Dorset has under gone a extensive refit of it restaurant and catering. Carford catering equipment worked closly with Vear Construction Ltd, the main contractor and Salim Sajid of Blueberry Foodservice Consultancy over several years.
The idea of a totally new facility started approx 5 yrs ago,the food offer at the garden centre was becoming more and more popular - a bigger restaurant was needed to cope. The capacity of the restaurant has now been increased from approximately 220 to 400 covers.
The designers of the project, HPW Partnership, included in the design new counters catering for different styles of cuisine ie: pizza, hot main course offerings, filled baugettes etc, with the catering equipment supplied by Carford Catering.
The catering equipment for the kitchen and servery included equipment from, Angelo Po, King Edward, Lincat, Sagi, Valera, Williams, Caravell, Storer Cold Rooms, Norpe, Jestic and stainless fabrication and extraction by Carford.
