The Eatery is the hot food area of The Curve, which also has a deli counter and Starbucks-branded café bar. The Eatery is open from 8.00am to 3.00pm, serving cooked breakfasts and hot lunches. It offers international, call-order dishes and deals, and a wide range of snacks. |

Catering manager Alan George says he is 'really happy' with the installation. "It's not a standard fit; we designed the bespoke kitchen around the menu I wanted to offer." Carford took Alan to visit another Carford installation to help in formulating his ideas, which he found "very helpful". |

The meals have been so successful that proposed plans for an internet cafe section have been scrapped in favour of providing a larger seating area for diners, and service often goes on 'way after 3pm'. Moreover, Alan notes, this is not just an initial interest but diners have kept coming back.

The kitchen equipment includes an Angelo Po cooking suite, Angelo Po combination oven and Angelo Po refrigeration, Carford Fabrication bespoke stainless steel fabrication and extraction system, Storer counters and coldroom and Meiko rack dishwasher system. |
"Carford has been very flexible and quick to overcome any problems," Alan says. "It is good to have one single company designing and installing the counters and kitchen. They oversee all the plumbing and wiring; that cuts out buck-passing and things are sorted quickly."
