Carford Group installed the kitchen at the popular new St. Germain Parisien-style brasserie and bar in Farringdon, London, just a stones throw from Smithfield Market. The 90-cover brasserie, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (and a leisurely brunch at weekends), draws inspiration from the New York style of restaurants in layout and some of the menu. |
| The installation features an Athenor bespoke cooking suite with single oven, single solid top, two ceramics and four planchers. The building is a new conversion from the complete shell of a 19th century print house. The kitchen is in the cellar, and Carford built a special canopy to cope with the low ceiling and also made bespoke tables and worksurfaces to make the best use of the space, where up to five staff may be working at any one time. | ![]() |

Chef Steve Collins, who joined from Quaglino's restaurant, expressed their satisfaction: "I am very happy with the Athenor suite, it's really well built."
