Frampton's Mill is a busy restaurant/Coffee Shop in the heart of Ringwood, Dorset and the local community.
The owners, Steve and Carol Allen, were given the opportunity of increasing the Kitchen space and servery area (having acquired an empty shop next door). After a period of careful planning and designing (undertaken in conjunction with Carford Senior Sales Manager, Ian Bryant) a problem arose: together with Brazier construction, the whole project needed to be completed within 3 weeks.
Building work was started immediately, with Brazier construction moving into an empty store opposite (to set up as a site office). Steve and Carol hired and erected a marquee directly in front of the building, which insured that they were able to remain open whilst the work was taking place.
During the first week Carford moved into the adjacent shop and laid the Altro flooring and installed the UPVC wall cladding into the area which would become the new kitchen.
By the middle of the second week Carford had fabricated and installed the kitchen ventilation system.
Finally, during the third week, the entire kitchen was installed despite a last minute problem of the gas not being available. The equipment was adapted so that LPG could be used.
All that remained was for the decorating to be completed, and Carford also supplied the finishing touches to the servery (in the form of display units and Coffee machines).
Steve and Carol have taken the opportunity to incorporate more seating, made possible by the increased capacity offered by the new kitchen (which is at least double in size).
During the building work the second floor was completely re-vamped, allowing Frampton's Mill to cater for a much broader range of services, including: training seminars, weddings and conferences. In the short time since the work was finished, the new business areas have proven popular and many bookings have already been taken.
An already successful business is now thriving and continues to expand as a result of the new development.
