Ronnie`s - Thornbury
Ronnie's restaurant in the heart of Thornbury has turned a crumbling 17th century building into a lively, stylish eaterie and coffee lounge, with help from The Carford Group.
Ronnie Faulkner is the owner-chef of Ronnie's Restaurant in Thornbury, a
distinguished career ensued and Ronnie worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens in the UK and Europe, for celebrated chefs such as Anton Mosimann and Ed Baines.
The installation features an Angelo Po Omega cooking suite with solid top range, smooth plate griddle, gas fryer and two open burners, Paul Gilhooly (Carfords Project Manager) recomended this style of suite to take advantage of the space available. The project also includes the lastest Angelo Po combination steaming oven, refrigerated counters and many others items of catering equipment supplied by Carford.

The bespoke extraction system designed, manufactured and installed by Carford, offered a great challenge, due to the listed status of the 17th century building. Carford worked very closely with Ronnie to make sure extraction system
matched the requirements of the kitchen, but was very sympathetic to the building. Carfords fabrication department also produced bespoked tables to match the Angelo Po cooking suites profile and an extra long 4 metre table!! with a one piece top.
