Carford Install Kitchen in Woburn Ark  11 May 2007 New fast food kitchen and servery for Woburn Safari Park Carford Group has designed and installed a new fast food kitchen and servery at Woburn Safari Park. The restaurant forms part a new indoor play area at the famous tourist attraction, The Mammoth Play Ark, designed to encourage young visitors whatever the weather. Carford had a tight installation programme due to overall delays but succeeded in completing in time for the busy Easter holidays.   It installed the complete kitchen, cold room, front counter and signage in a contract worth £200,000.   Front-of-house, with 150 indoor seats and a further 150 outdoor seats, was designed and installed by Fast Food Systems.   Woburn's Alastair Crawford said: "Carford helped us a lot and performed well to a really tight schedule. Nothing was too much of a problem, the onsite team was great and project manager Cathy Wilcox spent a lot of time with us at several stages."   www.woburnsafari.co.uk
